Last Minute Easter Egg Basket

It’s half past midnight now and I’m counting 1, 2, 3, 3 days to Easter!
If you are like me, a last minute warrior, here’s a quick craft that might fit nicely into the long weekend ahead. No need to purchase any special materials, all you need is old magazine pages, stapler, scissor and tape.

This must be the easiest tutorial I’ve done. Because, technically, I was learning from Shanice. Shanice learned to make little paper square holders from my mum. It’s a great way to reuse waste paper. Typically, these little square holders are used to contain fishbones, orange peels and other waste during meals. For this Easter however, these trusty little square holders have a bigger mission – we have modified and turned it into an Easter Egg Basket.

Here’s how it’s done. It’s really easy, just follow the photo steps below:

If you are still following this post, Shanice and I thank you! Now let’s move on to make the handles for the basket.

Congratulations! You’ve got yourself a pretty little Easter Egg Basket!!!

If you have a little more time and some colour paper, you might want to make a fancier version of the basket. Here’s our Easter Bunny Egg Baskets. Ain’t they adorable? 🙂

Here’s wishing you and your little and big loved ones, a blessed and happy Easter Holiday!
